Raman database
Our lab is constructing a database of Raman spectra for various biochemical compounds, that can be used as reference spectra to analyze and understand the more complicated signals from living systems.
The database is currently under construction, with some representative spectra provided below at the moment.
If you are interested in the database or in the Raman spectrum of a particular compound, please contact Associate Professor Nicholas Smith.
The spectra correspond to measurements performed on samples in their solid form, with an excitation at 532 nm.
